TRANSPORTATION POLICY
 

1. Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to establish guidelines for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective transportation of employees, materials, equipment, and company-related goods.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all employees, drivers, contractors, and authorized individuals involved in company transportation activities.

3. Transportation Procedures

All transportation activities must be planned and conducted in accordance with company procedures and applicable laws. Authorized transportation providers must be used whenever required. Transportation schedules should be followed to minimize delays and ensure operational efficiency.

4. Safety Requirements

All drivers must maintain a valid driver's license and comply with applicable traffic laws. Seat belts must be worn at all times, and vehicles must be maintained in safe operating condition. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.

5. Employee Responsibilities

Employees must follow transportation procedures, arrive at designated pickup locations on time, and report any delays, accidents, damage, or safety concerns to their supervisor promptly.

6. Vehicle Maintenance

Company vehicles must be regularly inspected and maintained to ensure safety and reliability. Any mechanical issue or vehicle damage must be reported immediately and addressed before the vehicle is returned to service, when necessary.

7. Transportation Expenses

All business-related transportation expenses must be reasonable, properly documented, and approved in accordance with company procedures. Unauthorized or personal expenses will not be reimbursed unless specifically approved.

8. Accidents and Emergencies

Any accident, incident, or transportation emergency must be reported immediately to the appropriate supervisor. Emergency procedures must be followed, and all applicable reporting requirements must be met.

9. Compliance

All employees and authorized personnel must comply with this policy. Failure to follow these requirements may result in disciplinary action in accordance with company policies and applicable law.

10. Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed periodically and updated as necessary to maintain compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
